Fitness specific qualifications Include:

  • Award in Fitness and Physical Activity - Level 1 - QCF
  • Award in Lifestyle Management - Level 1 - QCF
  • Certificate in Fitness Instructing - Exercise to Music - Level 2 - QCF
  • Certificate in Fitness Instructing - Gym-Based Exercise - Level 2 - QCF
  • Certificate in Personal Training - Level 3 - QCF
  • Award in Nutrition for Physical Activity - Level 3 - QCF
  • Certificate in Sports Massage - Level 3 - NQF

First Aid qualifications include:

  • HSE - 1 Day Emergency Aid - (6 hours)
  • HSE - 3 Day First Aid at Work

Workplace qualifications include:

  • Manual Handling
  • Health and Safety

Personal Services include:

  • Personal Training
  • Sport and Rehab Massage

Pro Gym Instructing offers training through the following Awarding Bodies:

Central YMCA Qualifications (CYQ) is the UK’s leading health and fitness specific awarding body. They develop and award health and fitness qualifications that are available through Pro Gym Instructing.

HSE is responsible for the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.  These responsibilities include: reviewing and maintaining the Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and guidance.

The British Standards Council Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety at Work aims to formalise health and safety induction training in the form of a nationally-recognised qualification.

Each of the qualifications offered by Pro Gym Instructing are fully accredited and recognised by health and fitness industry bodies. Each qualification gives full membership of the Register of Exercise Professionals. Qualifications include CYQ and NVQ.
